Never Alone on Shabat
All children love weekends, especially in Israel, where the feeling of Shabat takes over hospital halls. Weekends is also when doctors usually allow children to go home and spend Shabat with their families. But what about those too sick to come home on Shabat?
Happy weekends, in hospitals too
Unfortunately, not everyone can come home on weekends, many children have to stay in the hospital. But our volunteers are there to make sure they’re never lonely, even on weekends. The “Shabat Project” is aimed at keeping these kids company, and provide warm meals for their families, to make sure no family stays hungry on weekends, no matter what.
