Happy Birthdays!
Celebrating sick children’s birthdays is a challenge; they’re often disinclined to celebrate, and their families often find it hard to organize a proper celebration in the hospital. That’s where our volunteers come in, taking upon themselves to make sure no child is left without a proper birthday party.
Every child deserves a birthday party
The “Happy Birthdays Project” ensures every child in the ward receives a happy birthday, including cakes, balloons, presents, magicians and various fun activities to take away just a little bit of the sadness.
We do this because we believe these little moments of joy give these children strength to keep fighting and get better.
